The MV Fintry Queen is a 325 passenger commercial ferry and tourist attraction on Okanagan Lake in the Interior of British Columbia. The vessel last operated in 2008 and is currently being readied for a return to commercial service. The Fintry Queen is the largest commercial vessel on the lake at 580 tons, measuring 155ft long and 41 ft wide, encompassing over 9000 square feet over 3 decks. She is powered by twin caterpillar diesel engines with twin diesel generators and has operated as a tour boat for over 50 years, carrying in excess of 30,000 passengers annually. The vessel could be returned to commercial passenger service, linking the communities, parks, wineries and resorts on the lake; or be converted into a floating restaurant and entertainment centre, B& B condo units, timeshare ownership, or "on-the-lake" residence with helicopter pad. The enclosed Main Deck has a fully equiped commercial galley serving a dining room and bar for 120 seated guests with a dance floor and forward seating lounge for 70 more patrons. The upper decks host both shaded and open decks, wth an outdoor barbeque and snack bar. Prior liquor licenses included a 220 seat pub and 280 seat dining license. Originally designed as a car ferry, the unique hull shape enables her to get close to shore and utilize a bow boarding ramp where there are no landing facilities. The Company is currently preparing the vessel for a "Sea-Trials & Lake Tour" in September / October to promote new landing facilities throughout the region. We are open to sale or partnership opportunities.
